Network Strategist & Operations Lead, Wend Collective

In her current role at Wend Collective, CDL is responsible for fostering the kinds of systems and structures that allow for the collective to wayfind for a better world. Previously, CDL served as Founder and CEO of Moonshot, and additional roles with Education Pioneers, Summit Learning, Education Cities, Denver Public Schools, the Broad Foundation, and the Boston Consulting Group.

 

Chris Young | Board Treasurer
Chief Financial Officer, Worklife Partnership

With 15 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Operations Management ranging from startups to Fortune 200 companies, Chris brings a passion for performing financial analysis, turning data into information, and implementing process improvements. Chris has served as Board Treasurer for multiple Denver nonprofits, including BookGive and Climb Higher Colorado.

 

Daniella Morello
Chief of Staff, America’s Promise Alliance

Dani brings over 16 years of experience in education across a multitude of positions such as program director, founding school leader, operations director, teacher, community organizer, and most recently CXO of a large charter network in Denver, CO. Dani’s prior experience includes co-founding and co-leading MATCH Community Day Elementary school in Boston, MA. She is passionate about authentic engagement, equity, and empowering families and students to create lasting impact in their communities.

 

Caleb Fields
Vice President of Human Resources, Crocs

Caleb previously worked as Manager of Teacher Through Leader Talent Acquisition and the HR Lead on the organization’s African-American Task Force; he played professional baseball, founded Legacy Sports Camp in Chicago, and has worked in education since 2009.

 

Brian Ru
Co-Founder, Frontera Health

Brian is the Co-Founder of Frontera Health, a company developing AI/ML tools to improve access to pediatric behavioral therapies for families in rural communities. Before starting Frontera, Brian worked as a venture capitalist at General Catalyst, investing in technology and healthcare companies. Previously, he held a variety of operating and advisory roles contributing to Microsoft's strategy and the IP acquisition that would become Minecraft Education.

 

Chris Hall
CEO, Rocky Mountain SER

With 28 years of financial leadership, Chris’ expertise has driven strategic plans, expanded programs, and secured federal funding, notably for initiatives like Head Start. As former CFO at Rocky Mountain SER and the Urban League of Metropolitan Denver, Chris grew organizational finances and implemented efficient software solutions while actively participating in community service through church and educational boards.

 

Tatenda Blessing Muchiriri
Founder & Executive Director, Montessori on Wheels

Tatenda is a Cohort 4 Moonshot Alum and founder of Montessori on Wheels, a non-profit moving education liberation forward by co-creating Montessori-based learning environments within Black and Brown communities. He discovered his love of Montessori when he moved to China where he had the opportunity to work with children for seven years. Tatenda is passionate about Montessori philosophy and received his American Montessori Society Infant/Toddler and Early Childhood credential through the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies.

 

Windy Vigil
Human Resource Director, Comcast

Windy joins the Moonshot Board with over 14 years of experience as an HR Director at Comcast, where she has cultivated extensive knowledge in interpersonal relations and management.

 

Nicole Marie Bergeron
CEO, President, Founder - Aslan Housing Foundation

Nicole has worked extensively in education equity as a funder and founding board member. She has experience in founding an endowed foundation, a supporting organization, a partnership, and a school. She holds a joint JD/MPP, and holds certifications in/from: Parent Leader Institute, Innovate Public Schools; Facilitator, 21/64 Next Gen Philanthropy; Coaching for Effective Philanthropy, Exponent Philanthropy.
