Our Work
Moonshot has supported 100 Fellows over six cohorts to design and lead charter schools, micro-schools, district turnaround schools, nonprofits, and out-of-school learning programs. Learn about Moonshot’s work by reading our recently released 5-Year Impact Report.
OUR PROGRAMS:
The Moonshot Innovation Space
The Moonshot Innovation Space (formerly known as the Moonshot Fellowship) is a 9-month program for innovative leaders in the Metro Denver area who are working to positively impact youth across a variety of sectors such as education, healthcare, local government, environment/sustainability, housing, food, the arts, and more. During the program, Moonshot Fellows participate in a variety of weekly workshops and hands-on learning on subjects like leadership, planning pilots, creating budgets, designing practices of self-care, and collaborating with community members.
School Launcher & Program Launcher Residency Pathways
Our School Launcher & Program Launcher Residency Programs are full-time, intensive programs designed for Moonshot Fellows who have completed our Fellowship program and are ready to commit to their work at the next level.
The Residency includes a combination of workshops, individual coaching and support, and job-embedded leadership training and experience. We currently are able to offer specialized curriculum and support for School and Program founders in two different pathways.
Why a full-time program? These programs empowers Fellows to avoid burn-out and the pressure to take a job rather than focus on their mission, to maintain momentum, and to build critical connections with necessary stakeholders.
